Domestic salaries range from RON 4,000 to RON 6,000 per month (EUR 800–1,200). International routes to Germany, Italy, or Western Europe pay RON 7,000–9,000+ (EUR 1,400–1,800). Many Romanian drivers working internationally earn two to three times the domestic average.
