Domestic salaries range from PLN 6,500 to PLN 9,000 per month (EUR 1,500–2,100). International routes, especially to Germany and Western Europe, pay PLN 10,000–12,000+ (EUR 2,300–2,800). Cross-border drivers consistently earn 40–60% more than domestic.
International routes to Western Europe pay significantly more (40–60% above domestic rates). However, they require longer time away from home (3–4 week rotations). Many drivers start domestically and transition to international routes for higher earnings.
You need Prawo jazdy kat. CE (CE license) plus Kwalifikacja wstępna (initial qualification, equivalent to Driver CPC). Periodic training (szkolenie okresowe) is required every 5 years. For international routes, you also need a digital tachograph card.
Both have advantages. Polish companies offer more international routes with higher pay. Working directly for a German or Dutch company may offer even better terms but requires relocation or long commutes. Fyndaro lets you compare opportunities from both.
